IN THE SERVICE OF HUMANITY
Since the inception of the Anjuman Mufidul Islam, Calcutta in 1905, One Hundred & Fifteen years (as on 2020) has elapsed in the service of humanity is no mean achievement. Starting from scratch, the Anjuman Mufidul Islam, Calcutta with the sincere endeavour of its patron-benefactors, flourished into a huge banyan tree. With its diverse activities in the fields of education, medical , vocational & relief services to the poor, needy & downtrodden people of Calcutta & its neighbourhood, the Anjuman has become a premier minority organisation in eastern India and a leading one in the Republic. We bow our heads in all humility to the Great Creator who sustained the Anjuman through troubled waters and enabled it to serve the poor and the indigent with its limited resources. Today the Anjuman Mufidul Islam, Calcutta is the parent body of seven schools catering to the crying need of female education for the largest minority, coupled with the relief to widows, students and other needy persons.
